Stir-Fry
Take healthy, young, and fresh fruiting bodies of oysters. Clean and wash properly to remove any dust particles. Slice into small pieces and mix bell peppers and onion with a little amount of tomato. Add garlic or ginger (fresh or dry powder). Add two teaspoons of Vegetable oil put ground garlic and ginger and fry until browning. Put the sliced oyster mushroom and fry for 5 minutes. Add salts and soya etc. and enjoy the tasty food.
Pleurotus Soup
Pleurotus is also famous due to its delicious and tasty soup.
Take minced garlic, and onion and saute in a pan. Add sliced fresh oysters and cook at a low heat until the moisture is released. Pour in the broth and blend the soup until tender. Take a pot and the desired amount of salt, herbs, mint, pepper, etc. You may add cream or sauce to your choice. Dried powder of Pleurotus is also used to make soup.
Grilled Oyster Mushroom
Take a whole fruiting body of oysters or a few large pieces. Brush the mushroom pieces with olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Grill the mushroom at medium heat until cooked/grilled. Serve as a burger or sandwich.
